Preparing for Installation:
1. It should be checked before unpacking, whether the package is damaged;
and if it is affected with damp
2. Check whether the motor's nameplate data meet the requirements
3. Carefully check the motor, whether it is deformed or damaged during
transport, whether the fasteners are loose or fallen off; try turning the
shaft with hand to see whether the motor is flexible
4. Using a 500V megger to measure the insulation resistance, it should not
be less than 0.5 M?, otherwise the stator windings should be dried, the
drying temperature must not exceed 120 °C
Motor mounting:
1. Good ventilation and cooling conditions should be ensured during
installation of the motor, it should not be used for hot sun and rain
places
2. The motor allows be drived by using couplings, spur gear and pulley, but
for a 2-pol motor above 4kw or a 4-pol motor above 30kw, pulley driving
should better be avoided
3. For vertical mounted motors, other axial load devices are not allowed
except for belt pulley(or equivalent ordinary pulley load)
4. When using a belt drive, the motor shaft and load shaft centerline
parallel surface requires the belt centerline should be vertical to the shaft
